Stanley Home Warranty : Stanley Safe Club Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey

Just bought a coverage for kitchen appliances. I tried to contact customer service about unclear details in agreement. I cancelled the coverage same day after reading multiple complains. Will see how many years it will take to get my money back. Unfortunately Customers rarely put in reviews when they are happy.

I read the reviews online at 3 different sites. Almost everyone complained about this company being a rip off. I am worried that when my policy become effective that I would loose my money. I am not sure that I chose the right company. I bought this company for peace of mind on my rental property that is out of state. Thinking I will cancel my policy and look for another company.

It has been about a month since I experienced the malfunction, and report it and did not get even a service visit, let alone a solution to the problem.

As a consumer I like to speak with a customer service representative that knows what they are doing. I would like to hear more confidence coming from the customer service department. I have been trying to file a claim since September 14th. The Gold service never received the information from Stanley and I have been calling back and forward almost a month because I have a broken down car that I have no coverage to pay for the service. I have been speaking to several customer service as well as the supervisor. I call in yesterday left a message with a Victoria about issue she advised I would get a call back from Trevor but 24 hours later still no call!! I am currently contacting the BBB in NJ filing a complaint. Perhaps the most insulting element of this story is that Stanley Warranty sold its service contracts with a promise of zero service fees.

Fred Swartz I love helping people resolve complex problems and seeing justice served. The store should accept the returned item and offer the claimant a $20 gift card in goodwill. I recently pruchased a home warranty through Stanlely. Eric was very professional and complete in his service to me. My hope is that if and when I do have a claim I can expect the same treatment.
